Rs 430 Cr in Bhuntar- Manikaran Road pouches

Perched on the right bank of the roaring Parvati River, Bhuntar- Manikaran is the two eminent places in the valley of gods –Kullu. Bhuntar is known for airport facilities, while Manikaran, a place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Sikhs.
Both the places are visited by the thousands of tourist per year. The condition of the road was pitiable and vehicles were stuck in long traffic jams due to congestion on the road. So for the maintenance of the roads, the centre government has approved Rs 430 crore.
State BJP general secretary Ram Singh said that a delegation of Kullu BJP along with Mandi MP Ram Swaroop Sharma had met the Union Minister for Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari at Sunder Nagar and apprised him of the condition of the road.
