After the dismissal of Virbhadra Singh’s petition in the disproportionate assets case, Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said the HP CM Virbhadra Singh should resign from his post on moral grounds.
Addressing the election meetings in favour of BJP candidate Anil Dhiman in Bhoranj, Dhumal said the state was reeling under mafia raj and the government was protecting the mafia.
He said that BJP had formed governments in four states out of five in which elections were held recently and the Bhoranj by-election would be won by a comfortable margin by the party.
Dhumal said people had made up their mind to throw out the congress from the state and this will be proved in Bhoranj election results
. He alleged that Virbhadra Singh had divided the state on regionalism and the Congress government was ignoring merit in the selection process of employees. Out of 85 employees appointed in the state secretariat in Shimla, only a handful was selected from the lower Himachal areas whereas as many as 37 were appointed from Shimla district.
Addressing over the six election meetings in the constituency and Dhumal said the victory of the BJP candidate would be a tribute to late ID Dhiman, who had given his life for the development of the constituency.
